CBD is NOT New.

CBD Has Been Around for a Long Time. I repeat. A LONG time.

Despite the current stigma around cannabis use today, this hasn’t always been the case. Humans have been using the cannabis plant, for one reason or another, since ancient times.

Interestingly enough, the very first case of medicinal cannabis use dates back to China, circa 2737 BC. Evidence has proven that Chinese Emperor Sheng Nung used a cannabis-infused tea to help with a variety of different ailments, including memory loss, malaria, and rheumatism. Then, around 100 BC, the psychotropic properties of Cannabis were mentioned in the newly compiled herbal Pen Ts’ao Ching. Queen Victoria is also known to have used cannabis to help alleviate her painful menstrual cramps (love that). Sir J. Russell Reynolds prescribed cannabis to help relieve the pain during her period, and is quoted saying, “when pure and administered carefully, [cannabis] is one of the most valuable medicines we possess.”

Don’t be shy, give it a try.
